This article describes how to delete a profile (account) in Outlook on Mac OS X. This has changed for Office for Mac 2016, identities are now referred to as profiles, and the Database Utility is now called 'Outlook Profile Manager'. In the previous version for Outlook for mac, in order to create a new identity, or profile, you would open up the Database Utility to create the new identity. ![]() Add, change, or delete a profile From Finder, open the Applications folder. The Outlook Profile Manager (Microsoft Database Utility) allows you to create new profiles, delete, edit and set a default profile, so that when Outlook opens, the default profile will always display. Manage Profiles in Outlook 2016 for Mac NOTE: Outlook 2011 for Mac, profiles were called identities. When you open Outlook, it always uses the default profile. The Outlook Profile Manager (previously called the Microsoft Database Utility) is installed as part of your Office installation, and it allows you to create new profiles, edit or delete profiles, and set your default profile.
